Blumenthal Statement on FBI Disclosure of 9/11 Documents

[WASHINGTON, D.C.] – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) released the following statement after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) partially disclosed documents relating to its 9/11 investigation sought by the family members and survivors of the attacks:

“These documents provide additional evidence of connections between Saudi officials and the 9/11 hijackers. I commend the Biden Administration for supporting the families in their quest for justice with this significant disclosure, a crucial step toward transparency that hopefully will be followed by more. I will continue to support the 9/11 community in seeking further release of information, and urge the administration to complete its review of undisclosed files as quickly as possible.”
