Senators Lieberman And Blumenthal Commend UCONN Huskies

WASHINGTON, DC- Today, Senators Joe Lieberman and Richard Blumenthal congratulated the University of Connecticut men’s basketball team from the Senate Floor on their winning the National Championship on Monday evening.

The Huskies became NCAA National Champions after defeating the Butler Bulldogs of Indiana. This is the third national title for Coach Jim Calhoun and the UCONN Huskies.
