[WASHINGTON, D.C.] – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) welcomed Senate passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2026. As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Blumenthal championed provisions in the NDAA to bolster Connecticut’s defense industrial base and its workforce.
“This defense authorization bill makes major investments in Connecticut’s worldclass manufacturing base. This NDAA is a serious, longterm to commitment to our national security and our state’s workforce.
