Blumenthal Statement on Iran's Transfer of Morad Tahbaz & Four Other Americans From Prison to House Arrest

[WASHINGTON, D.C.] – U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) released the following statement in response to Iran’s transfer of five wrongfully imprisoned Americans, including Connecticut resident Morad Tahbaz, from prison to house arrest:

“While I am thrilled Morad Tahbaz has been released from Evin Prison, I still unequivocally demand his release to the U.S. and back into the arms of his family. Despite moving to house arrest, Morad remains wrongfully detained and I will not rest until he is finally freed.”
