Share your Stories: Health Care and You
President Trump has made his intent clear: to put in place a Supreme Court Justice who will vote to strike down the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and limit people’s reproductive rights.
This November, the Supreme Court is hearing a case that could gut the ACA, lifesaving legislation that allows millions of Americans to have health care coverage. During a national pandemic, the last thing Connecticut families need is for their health care to be jeopardized or lost. Meanwhile, seventeen cases involving reproductive rights are just one step away from the Supreme Court, making it likely that the next Justice will vote on abortion restrictions that could dramatically limit access to care – or even overturn Roe v. Wade.
Now is the time to defend health care protections and make your voice heard by sharing your health care story. I want to know: What has the ACA meant to you or your family? What would it mean for you if the ACA was struck down? How would you be impacted if Roe v. Wade was overturned?
