Listed below are the Energy and Water Development projects Senator Blumenthal has submitted to the Senate Appropriations Committee. The Senate Appropriations Committee selects the final projects from the projects submitted by all senators. Therefore, neither submission of an application nor Senator Blumenthal’s approved list of projects are guaranteed for final funding.

The Towers Foundation - New Haven, CT

  • Amount Requested: $288,000
  • This project will provide a one-time investment for the purchase of co-generator equipment at The Towers at Tower Lane in New Haven.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Hartford, CT

  • Amount Requested: $2,340,000
  • This project will conduct a feasibility study for rehabilitation of the Hartford and East Hartford Levee systems, as authorized in the America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018.
